My daughter and I were stuck in traffic in Chicago and found Shine.FM. It made our 1 1/2 hour wait more bearable.

During my senior year of high school I was under a ton of pressure from my mom when it came to paying for college. I was applying to dozens of scholarships and was usually yelling at me about how I should already have a job and how I wasn't working hard enough. I was so stressed out because of her, I would cry by myself all the time. I just felt so overwhelmed. I listened to Shine.FM all day and night (so I wouldn't have to hear her). Sanctus Real's song "I'm Not Alright" especially touched me. I would forward to Sunday night to listen to listen to the teen talk line. Shine definitely got me through that difficult, stressful time. Thanks, Shine.FM.
